On December 11-18, 2012 delegation of the Asia and Pacific collaboration Center and representatives of the leading universities of Saint-Petersburg visited Shenyang, Liaoning province, China.

During the business trip the presentation of Saint-Petersburg as a scientific and educational center of Russia was held with the participation of the leading universities of Liaoning province (Shenyang Polytechnic University, Shenyang Instrument University, Agricultural Academy of Shenyang, etc.), research and production associations of China. Bilateral partnership and cooperation agreements with Shenyang Polytechnic University, Shenyang Company for the development of science and technology «Boyin» were signed. Negotiations on cooperation in the fields of wind and solar energetics, construction of wind power generators in Liaoning province, instrumentation, fertilizers for agriculture, processing of waste tires were held.

During the negotiations with the leaders of the Committee for Science and Technology of Liaoning province an agreement to organize and conduct of the Forum for new building materials with the participation of Russian companies was reached.

Moreover the discussion of issues of establishment of partnership between Junior school of aerospace high technologies “AVIONICS” at Saint-Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation and profile technical educational institutions on Shenyang was held.
